Suzani Vintage textile is a unique hand embroidered traditional women textile from Uzbakestan, Tajikistan and other Central Asian countries, as it has been through the ages.

she works with her mother until the day that she has one of Suzani's as a canopies and head dress in her Wedding.
There are also some other uses of Suzani; for example lots of people use it as a Curtain.
Mostly Suzanis are made of Cotton and Silk with natural colors.
Since 90's Suzanis are making vey proud comeback.
But since 2000 some companies has started to produce machine made and copies of Suzani and this made the Suzani looks too expansive.

Ikat
What is Ikat?
Ikat textile is one of the most valuable and noteworthy textiles in the world which is produced in many traditional textile centers around the world, from India to Central Asia, japan, Africa and Latin America. In Central Asia they call the ikat fabric abr, an originally Persian term meaning cloud. Thus abr-bandi, cloud-tying, refers to the binding technique that gives ikat its characteristic cloud-like pattern.
How is Ikat fabric made?
Ikat fabric is a dyeing technique used to create a distinct style of textile patterns. Ikat is done by resist dyeing sections of the yarns prior to weaving the fabric. In Ikat the resist is formed by binding individual yarns or bundles of yarns with a tight wrapping applied in the desired pattern. The yarns are then dyed which is made this textile more valuable and different from others. There are different types of ikats wrap ikat, weft ikat, double ikat and pasapalli ikat. Ikats with little blurriness, multiple colors and complicated patterns are more difficult to create and it needs special talent to create. At first ikat fabrics were made by hand especially by women and daughters. But later on, machines were used to make this fabric.
In our products, we use Central Asia’s like Tajikistan, Uzbakestan and Turkmenistan’s ikat fabrics. There ikat fabric became a kind of prestige symbol in the country’s culture since it is famous and highly usable.
